What: The 1st annual Following the Star 5k and Fun Run celebrates what Christmas is all about!  The entire family can participate in a 5k trail run or a 1 mile fun run filled with holiday themed obstacles.

Where: Idlewild Baptist Church 12701 Idlewild Road, Matthews, NC 28105 Parking on site.  

When: Christmas Eve, December 24, 2012
Packet Pickup and Race Day Registration 8:00am
5k Run 9:00am
Fun Run 9:45am

No strollers are permitted on the 5k run due to the terrain.  Jogging style strollers can be used during the Fun Run.  No animals allowed on the course or property.  

If there is inclement weather on race day, race officials may choose to cancel the race for the safety of the runners.  Registration costs are non-refundable.  

Awards will be given to the Top 3 5k finishers and the Top 3 Fun Run finishers/ families
